Lazy Fisherman Win at Idaho Falls, 6-1
|
Spirited fans at Alleycats Ballpark greeted the Idaho Falls Chukars for their clash with the Naperville Lazy Fisherman.
The Idaho Falls Chukars went down to defeat to Masato Yoshii and his Naperville teammates. The final score was 6-1 in favor of the Lazy Fisherman. The winning pitcher was Yoshii, now 3-1. He tossed 8.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 4.
In the top of the seventh, with Naperville leading 2-1, first baseman Matt Luke hit a 3-run home run. The hit came off Steve Falteisek and put the Lazy Fisherman ahead, 5-1.
"We did a lot of things right," said Yoshii.
The Chukars, now 6-11, continue their slow start.
