Lazy Fisherman Deal Rainiers Painful Loss
|
Naperville beat Tacoma at Ballpark of Milton, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to first baseman Matt Luke, who earned player of the game honors. He belted 3 home runs, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 5. The Lazy Fisherman raised their record to 12-7.
Luke delivered in the bottom of the ninth inning for Naperville. With the game tied and the bases empty, the first baseman hit a solo home run to left.
"This place sure got loud," said , the Naperville manager.
