Omaha rode a fine outing from starter Sidney Ponson to victory over the Tacoma Rainiers at Premont Grounds. The final score was 5-1. Ponson went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 2-2. The win gives Omaha a record of 10-13.
