Lazy Fisherman Win at Spokane, 4-3
|
The Naperville Lazy Fisherman scored a 4-3 win versus the Spokane River Rats at Foxes Ballpark. Naperville pitcher Masato Yoshii nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. The Lazy Fisherman, now 15-7, have played some good baseball in the early going.
Matt Luke, who is tied for 3rd in the PAC in RBI with 22, aided the Naperville cause with a 2-run double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"I just try to put up zeroes," said Yoshii, "and let the rest take care of itself."
