The Salt Lake City Buzz topped the Tucson Tarantulas by the score of 4-2, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Reggie B. Williams. Williams went 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Buzz. Bob Howry picked up the save, his 6th. Salt Lake City now has a 3-game win streak.
Salt Lake City first baseman Carlos A. Martinez made his contribution to the Buzz cause with a single in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the day, Martinez went 1 for 4.
