Chukars Come Back Late to Clip Brass
The New Orleans Brass got a sterling performance from second baseman Jeff Frye, but the Chukars still prevailed, 8-6. Frye was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Idaho Falls is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Idaho Falls used the clutch hitting of Jeff Abbott to capture the win. The pinch hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Chukars ahead, 8-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.
