Behind the bravura of right fielder Willis Otanez, the New Orleans Brass topped the Idaho Falls Chukars by the score of 6-5. Otanez was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs for the Brass. The win was Jose Paniagua's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Manuel Barrios took the loss for Idaho Falls. The Brass have an impressive 16-10 record.

Jeremy Giambi hit a run-scoring double off Steve Falteisek in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Brass in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Giambi had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"Enjoyed this one," Otanez told the New Orleans Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
