It could have been a different outcome for Naperville, had it not been for Marlon Anderson, the 24-year old second baseman . Anderson contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Naperville up, 6-4.

Anderson expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
