It was a fun time at Bella Vista Grounds, where the Portland Stag and Salt Lake City Buzz tangled.

Dave Staton had a hand in Salt Lake City defeating Portland by the score of 12-3. Staton went 2 for 3 at the plate, scoring 3 times and driving in 2 runs. The Stag, now 15-20, have lost 5 in a row.

An important at-bat for Salt Lake City came with one out in the bottom of the first. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Staton hit a run-scoring double, which contributed to the Buzz win.
