Chukars Win in Extras
The Idaho Falls Chukars beat the Nashville Sounds, 10-7, at Red Devils Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Dave Hansen, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 6. Jeff Schwarz locked down his 5th save. The win boosts the Chukars to 14-20. The loss puts the Sounds at 12-22.

The game turned with one out in the top of the 11th when Hansen, who is tied for 2nd in the PAC in RBI with 32, hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Chukars into the lead, 8-7.

In postgame comments, Hansen said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
