Benefiting from Doug Glanville's productive game, the San Antonio Missions downed the Omaha Storm Chasers, 8-2. Glanville was 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Missions. Jeff Pico earned the save, his 1st, for the Missions. The Missions have an impressive 22-14 record.
The Missions got a big at-bat from right fielder Scarborough Green. For the game, Green went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave San Antonio a 4-2 lead.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager said.
