The Salt Lake City Buzz defeated the Idaho Falls Chukars, 9-3, at Alleycats Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Salt Lake City was shortstop Shane Andrews. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Ben Rivera, the winner, improved to 3-3. He held Idaho Falls to 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. The Buzz, now 22-15, have won 5 in a row.

In the top of the first, Andrews pounced on a 0-2 cutter from Rich Hunter and hit a grand slam home run. It put Salt Lake City on top, 4-0.
