Spiders Walk Off with Win
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Cleveland Spiders and Kansas City Royals came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Cleveland catcher Todd Hundley had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 6-4 win over the Kansas City Royals. The win was credited to Salomon Torres in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Steve Woodard took the loss.

Hundley delivered in the bottom of the 12th inning for Cleveland. With the game tied and a runner on 1st, the catcher hit a 2-run home run to left.

"Games like this one keep the antacid makers in business," quipped Kansas City manager Daniel Drucker.

Despite the win, Cleveland, now 6-15, is off to a terrible start.
