Missions Roll to 8-2 Win Over River Rats
|
San Antonio Missions starter Scott Erickson had all his pitches working at Foxes Ballpark. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 San Antonio win over the Spokane River Rats. Erickson picked up the win for San Antonio , going 5 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-0. Mike J Grace finished to wrap up his 1st save.
It could have been a different outcome for San Antonio , had it not been for Kelly Gruber, the top prospect . Gruber contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put San Antonio up, 8-2.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said San Antonio manager .
San Antonio is now 29-17, 3 games up in the Pacific Central.
