The New Orleans Brass topped the Nashville Sounds, 7-5, with youngster Eric Chavez playing a key role. Chavez was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Brass in the win. The Brass, now 29-20, have won 4 in a row.
