The New Orleans Brass knocked off the Nashville Sounds, 10-2, at Red Devils Stadium. John Flaherty, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason New Orleans won. The catcher went 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Brass.
Flaherty put New Orleans up, 10-1, when he hit a 3-run home run off Jeff E. Gray in the top of the seventh. His 1st home run of the season helped the Brass capture the win.
Nashville manager called the blowout loss "a real stinker."
