Lazy Fisherman Edge Past Rainiers, 5-4

Troy Glaus had a good game, but he could not keep the Tacoma Rainiers from falling, 5-4, to the Naperville Lazy Fisherman at Premont Grounds. The Tacoma third baseman was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs in the loss. Shigetoshi Hasegawa picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Jeff Kubenka was tagged with the loss. The Lazy Fisherman bumped their record to 29-22 with this latest triumph.
Naperville used the bat of Ryan Radmanovich to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lazy Fisherman ahead, 5-4. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Radmanovich told the Naperville Daily.
