The Idaho Falls Chukars picked up a win at Motors Ballpark, knocking off the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 4-2. Starting pitcher Rich Hunter played a key role in the triumph. Earning his 1st save of the year was Kenny Rogers. Idaho Falls is now 22-32, while Colorado Springs is 25-29.
One key moment occurred in the bottom of the seventh with two down. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Sky Sox trailing 3-1, pitcher Dmitri Young flied out. It was a big out for Hunter and the Chukars.
