River Rats Get Road Win, 9-0
The Spokane River Rats defeated the Naperville Lazy Fisherman, 9-0, at Ballpark of Milton today. Leading the charge for Spokane was left fielder Michael Tucker. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Doug Brocail got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. The first-place River Rats have a one-game lead in their division.

The River Rats got a lift from right fielder Kevin Millar, who in the top of the sixth hit a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season put the River Rats on top, 4-0.

River Rats manager had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
