Chukars Take Tight Tilt, 4-3
|
The Idaho Falls Chukars managed to get by the New Orleans Brass, 4-3, at Alleycats Ballpark. Idaho Falls pitcher Rich Hunter took player of the game honors. Jeff Schwarz nailed down his 11th save. The Chukars are now 23-35, while the Brass fall to 35-23.
Marcus Jensen contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a sacrifice fly. It was one at-bat that helped Idaho Falls get the win.
"Coulda, shoulda, woulda," said New Orleans manager . "We had our chances and didn't cash in."
