Sounds Bang Out 6-4 Win Versus Salt Lake City
|
Ken Ramos was instrumental in his team's 6-4 triumph over the Salt Lake City Buzz. The designated hitter was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Nashville Sounds. Mitch Williams notched his 12th save in 14 chances. With the victory, the Sounds record now stands at 25-37.
Ramos came through with some timely hitting for Nashville. With the score 3-2 in the top of the third and two down, Ramos hit a 1-1 fastball for a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season made it 5-3, Nashville.
Ramos said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
