Storm Chasers Win at Colorado Springs, 6-3
Omaha Storm Chasers starter Sidney Ponson pitched a strong game against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at Motors Ballpark, leading the Storm Chasers to a 6-3 win. Colorado Springs, at 30-33, has lost 4 straight.

It could have been a different outcome for Omaha, had it not been for Ramon E Martinez, the 25-year old second baseman . Martinez contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Omaha up, 5-3.

Ponson attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
