Chukars Take Tight Tilt, 2-1
Idaho Falls rode a good effort from starter Kenny Rogers to beat the Salt Lake City Buzz at Bella Vista Grounds. The final score was 2-1. Rogers picked up the win for Idaho Falls, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. The 5th-place Chukars improved to 31-39.

Idaho Falls used the timely hitting of Greg Litton to capture the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Chukars on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Litton told the Idaho Falls News.
