Sounds Win at Tucson, 3-1
Nashville rode a fine outing from starter Pete J. Smith to victory over the Tucson Tarantulas at Ballpark of Louisville. The final score was 3-1. The Sounds sit in 5th place in the Pacific Central with a record of 38-49.

The Nashville win was a team effort. It included major contributions from, among others, Mike Kinkade. In the top of the sixth, the Nashville first baseman came to bat and hit a 2-run home run. It staked his team to a 2-1 lead.

"We put together a nice win," Kinkade said.
