Brown Holds St. Louis Scoreless
Kevin Brown of the Kansas City Royals spun his magic on the St. Louis Cardinals today. He blanked them 10-0 on 5 hits, registering 10 strikeouts and 1 walk.

"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Brown said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."

Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Kansas City skipper Daniel Drucker said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations."

"Kevin pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said.

Brown has made 6 starts, tossed 48.1 innings, struck out 52 batters and walked 9. His record is 5-0 with a 1.68 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .166 batting average.
