Rainiers Get Road Win, 7-0
|
The Tacoma Rainiers got a good effort from starter Brian Rose in defeating the San Antonio Missions at Texans Stadium. The final score was 7-0. The Rainiers are now 46-51, while the Missions fall to 63-34.
Tacoma relied on the hitting of Troy Glaus to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rainiers on top, 7-0. For the game, Glaus had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Rose.
