Chukars Beat Visiting Tarantulas, 10-4
|
The Idaho Falls Chukars topped the Tucson Tarantulas, 10-4, with second baseman Greg Litton playing a big role. Litton went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for the Chukars in the win. The Chukars now have a record of 38-58.
Ed Giovanola was a prime factor in the win for the Chukars. In the bottom of the sixth with one out, the 24-year old third baseman hit a 2-run single. He was 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Giovanola. "And not try to do too much."
