Tarantulas Raise Rally Flag, Beat Tacoma, 6-4
Tacoma got a terrific game from third baseman Troy Glaus. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Tucson, 6-4. Glaus was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Tucson, now 46-53, holds third place in the Pacific West.

An impactful at-bat came in the bottom of the eighth inning. With the bases loaded, the batter, Ralph Milliard, hit a sacrifice fly. It made the score 5-4, Tucson, and helped them go on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Milliard said after the game.
