Extra-Inning Win by River Rats over Chukars
The Spokane River Rats defeated the Idaho Falls Chukars, 7-5, in Pacific action at Alleycats Ballpark, with Spokane pitcher Brian Dubois named player of the game. The winner was Spokane reliever Ricky Trlicek, now 3-1. The loser was Neil Weber. Calvin Jones earned his 1st save in 2 chances.

Spokane used the timely hitting of John Mabry to capture the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the 11th inning to put the River Rats on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but he made it count.

"I'm glad this one's going in the books as a 'W'," Mabry said.

The last-place Chukars have dropped 10 straight games.
