Jensen Excels, But Lazy Fisherman Win
Idaho Falls catcher Marcus Jensen was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Naperville beat the Chukars, 7-6. Jensen was named the player of the game despite the loss. The winner was Charles Nagy, who threw 100 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits. Garrett Stephenson converted his 6th save in 7 tries.

The Lazy Fisherman used some clutch hitting to beat the Chukars, a good example being the at-bat of Pokey Reese in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, Reese gave his team the lead, 6-4, when he hit a 2-run double.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said Reese.

The Lazy Fisherman now have a record of 65-50 with the win over Idaho Falls.
