Hoiles Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Charlotte in Walk-Off Win
Charlotte rode a fine outing from starter Scott Bankhead to victory over the Chicago Cubs at Comiskey Park. The final score was 3-2. The Knights, now 2-1, have been playing some good baseball.

Charlotte won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Russ Springer on the mound for Chicago, catcher Chris Hoiles hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Knights fans to their feet.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Chicago manager Anthony Perez. "The effort was great."
