River Rats Brocail Blanks Lazy Fisherman
|
Spokane River Rats starter Doug Brocail tamed the Naperville Lazy Fisherman 4-0 with a 4-hit shutout, finishing the game with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in a sharp outing.
"I enjoy facing a team like that where I can get an out on one, two or three pitches," Brocail said. "It gives me a chance to be a lot more aggressive."
Brocail has taken the mound for 16 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 6-7 record with a 4.34 ERA. The Spokane reliever has limited opposing batters to a .253 batting average.
