Spokane Takes 3-0 Lead in Division Series
With left fielder Kevin Millar leading the charge, the Spokane River Rats got a road win over the New Orleans Brass, 7-4, in Game 3 of the Division Series today. Millar was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 at Bay Hawks Ballpark to help Spokane take a 3-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.

One important at-bat for Spokane came with one out in the top of the third inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Millar hit a run-scoring single, which contributed to the River Rats win.

"Things aren't going great right now," New Orleans manager said. "But you don't need me to tell you that."
