River Rats Win to Tie Series with Lazy Fisherman
The Spokane River Rats knotted up the League Championship Series at Ballpark of Milton today, thanks in large part to starter Scott Eyre. Eyre quieted the Naperville Lazy Fisherman, enabling Spokane to grab the 3-0 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Eyre was in the zone all game. He frustrated Naperville hitters while giving the River Rats 8 innings of quality work. Eyre threw 91 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 6 punchouts.

"This win gets us that much closer to where we want to be," Eyre said in postgame remarks.

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow at Ballpark of Milton. Slated to start are Bobby M Jones for the Spokane River Rats and Frank Seminara for the the Naperville Lazy Fisherman.
