Batista Dazzles in St. Louis Win
It was a fun time at Busch Stadium, where the Charlotte Knights and St. Louis Cardinals tangled.

The St. Louis Cardinals got a stellar effort from pitcher Miguel Batista, helping St. Louis score a 9-0 win over the visiting Charlotte Knights. Losses have been few and far between for the Knights so far this season. Their record drops to 19-10.

Batista imposed his will on the Knights, scattering 6 hits over 8.1 innings while striking out 8. The right-hander upped his season record to 2-1.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Charlotte manager Tyler Vuxta.
