Creams Slip Past Florida, 6-5

Behind the bravura of designated hitter Mike Greenwell, the Milwaukee Creams topped the Florida Marlins by the score of 6-5. Greenwell was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Creams. The win was credited to Rob Murphy in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Billy Wagner took the loss. Jeff Calhoun closed it out for his 7th save.
Late-game drama came in the top of the tenth inning. With no one out and the bases empty, Milwaukee designated hitter Mike Greenwell hit a solo home run, helping his team get the win.
"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager .
The Creams are off to a tough start, getting just their 12th win in 30 games.
