Knights Win in Extras
|
Charlotte right-hander Ron Robinson made an effective start against the Cleveland Spiders at League Park, leading his team to a 6-5 win. Tim Burke sewed up the save, his 6th. The Knights, now 21-10, have been playing some good baseball.
Carl Everett had a nice at-bat for the Knights with two out in the top of the ninth. With runners on 1st and 3rd, the center fielder drew a walk, which would prove important in the Charlotte win.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Cleveland manager .
