Victory Over Cubs Takes Florida to 21-11
The Florida Marlins defeated the Chicago Cubs, 8-5, in Federal League action at Joe Robbie Stadium, with Florida pitcher Butch Henry named player of the game. Henry got the win, improving to 5-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 0 over 7 innings. Henry allowed 3 earned runs. The Cubs fall to 12-21 and continue their uneasy start to the 1998 season.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Joe Robbie Stadium seemed to enjoy watching the Federal League action.
