The 31-year-old went 5-for-7 at the plate at Metrodome today, but his Cleveland Spiders fell to the Minnesota Twins, 6-4.

"It's hard to get too excited," the second baseman told BNN following the game. "After a game like this, everyone's quiet and they just want to go home."

Bill Spiers hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Hideo Nomo in the 7th, singled in the 9th, tripled in the 12th, walked in the 14th, singled in the 16th and struck out in the 18th.
