Chicago Cubs starter Brian Holman was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Philadelphia Phillies, 6-3. Chicago, at 18-30, sits in last place in the Federal League Central Division.

Chicago used the bat of Willie Greene to get the win. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Cubs ahead, 6-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Chicago manager Anthony Perez.
