Marlins Win at Charlotte, 7-3
The Florida Marlins topped the Charlotte Knights, 7-3, in Federal League action at Comiskey Park. The player of the game was Florida pitcher and El Paso, Texas native Butch Henry. The Marlins own a robust 35-17 mark.

It could have been a different outcome for Florida, had it not been for Todd Walker, the 25-year old left fielder . Walker contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Florida up, 2-0.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Walker told the Florida Times.
