Angels Turn Back Washington, 4-2
The Las Vegas Angels racked up a win at RFK Stadium, bumping off the Washington Senators, 4-2. Matt Clement, who started for Las Vegas, pitched effectively for his team. Joe Hudson got credit for the save for Las Vegas. It was his 17th of the year. The Angels have an impressive 33-20 record.

It could have been a different outcome for Las Vegas, had it not been for Jermaine Dye, the 24-year old right fielder . Dye contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Las Vegas up, 3-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Las Vegas manager Kevin Patterson.
