Fenway Park was the site of a exceptional pitchers' duel.

Hideo Nomo pitched well, but the Minnesota Twins still lost the game, falling 2-1 to the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Joe Borowski finished the game for Boston and earned his 2nd save.

The Red Sox beat the Twins with some clutch hitting. The double by Ray Durham in the bottom of the fifth is a good example. With two down, Durham gave his team the lead, 2-1, when he came through with the big hit.

Durham attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."

The Red Sox, now 5-2, have been on a roll in the early going.
