Multi-HR Game for Perez in 9-6 Win
The Charlotte Knights downed the Florida Marlins, 9-6, at Joe Robbie Stadium. Neifi Perez led the way, going 2-for-3 for Charlotte. Fumiya Nishiguchi got the win, improving to 6-4. He held the Marlins to 3 earned runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 3. Charlotte is now 43-21, 2½ games up in the Federal League Central Division.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the second inning. That's when catcher Chris Hoiles drew a walk. The Knights went on to win.

"We came out aggressive," said Knights manager Tyler Vuxta. "We came out swinging the bats."
