Milwaukee beat Cleveland on the strength of starter Kelly Downs's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. Milwaukee is off to a hot start at 5-2.

Chipper Jones had a big 2-run double for the Creams in the bottom of the third inning. With Milwaukee trailing 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from Bob Sebra and stroked the double to left. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Creams ahead, 2-1.

"We've got a great group of guys," Downs said, "and we're having fun right now."
