Clement Sensational for Angels
Las Vegas starter Matt Clement pitched effectively against the Colorado Rockies at Mile High Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 3-1 win. Joe Hudson was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 18 of 22 save opportunities. The Angels bumped their record to 38-30 with this latest triumph.

Clement ran roughshod over the Colorado lineup. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits over 8.2 innings, while striking out 8. With the victory, he goes to 5-8 on the season.
