Reds Get One-Run Win at Milwaukee
The Cincinnati Reds outlasted Chipper Jones and the Milwaukee Creams, 8-7. Jones was impressive in the loss. The Milwaukee third baseman went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Jeff Suppan was called on to finish, recording his 1st save. The Reds move to 45-29 with the win, while the Creams drop to 37-37.

One of the biggest contributors for Cincinnati was left fielder Bobby Higginson. In the top of the seventh, with a runner on 2nd, Higginson got a 2-2 fastball and hit a 2-run home run. That put the Reds on top, 7-6.

"We got the victory," said Higginson. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
