Cleveland-Milwaukee Trade: Anderson for Greene Tuesday, April 14th, 1998 Fans in Cleveland woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 25-year-old LF Garret Anderson to the Milwaukee Creams. In return, the Spiders will receive 31-year-old RHP Tommy Greene and 29-year-old minor league RHP John Johnstone. Currently Anderson is batting .419 with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 8 runs scored. In his career Greene has chalked up 26 wins and 31 losses and compiled a 4.26 ERA. |
