Ordonez Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, April 18th, 1998 Magglio Ordonez did more than his part as the New York Mets topped the Oakland Athletics today at Oakland Coliseum. The Mets right fielder pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 3-2 thumping of the Athletics.
