Setback For Mets and Gary Sheffield Saturday, April 25th, 1998 New York Mets shortstop Gary Sheffield will now miss more time after sustaining a setback in his recovery from a sore elbow. The setback is believed to be minor, but the timetable for his return has been pushed back an additional one week. So far this year Sheffield has hit .256 with 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |
